Trenton Dean Thomas

Mr. Trenton Dean Thomas, age 26, of Brandenburg, KY, tragically passed away with his girlfriend, Karlie Odele Haycraft, on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Trenton was known as a dear son, brother and friend to so many. He was his brother, Trace’s best friend and secret keeper. Trenton’s sense of humor was contagious to all around him and because of it, he never met a stranger. He was someone that you could rely on in any situation. He celebrated your success and was there as a shoulder during your hard times. Trent had a way of making you feel safe. He was known as Big Red, Double T and T Squared by his teammates at North Hardin. Trenton was Christian in faith and could quote many scriptures. He never met a stranger and had the ability to love with his whole heart.

Trenton was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Roger Dean Kelly and Gary Thomas; his great grandparents; Playford and Freda Clark, Marvin "Bud" and Virginia Sypolt, Claude and Inez Dean and Roy and Betty Thomas. He is survived by his parents, Rusty and Shanda Thomas; his brother, Trace Thomas; his grandmothers, Joyce Thomas, Karen Renee Clark-Kelly; his grandfather, Mark Sypolt; aunts and uncles, Sylvia Hill, Sue Turner, Jane (Duke) Johnson, Janet Pauley, Ricky Thomas, Donnie (Paula) Clark, Greg (Naola) Clark, Dennis Jay (Cindy) Clark, Toby (Kim) Clark and Kirby (Jennifer) Clark; numerous cousins in West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana. Trenton also leaves behind great friends and his teammates at North Hardin baseball.

Funeral services will be held jointly with Karlie at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Knott and Deacon Greg Beavin officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday. Following the services, Trenton will be returning to West Virginia for services with his family there.
