Roy Allen Reckart,

67, of Albright (Valley Point Community), WV, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at his home.

The son of Glenna Pauline Titchnell Blake and the late Kenneth Eugene Reckart, he was born January 24, 1950, in Franklin, Ohio.

He was a U. S. Army veteran and a retired carpenter.

In addition to his mother, Roy is survived by a daughter, Larissa Matheny DeWitt of Cheat Lake, WV; two sons: Chad A. Thomas of Albright, and William Paul Corley of Tunnelton, WV; a sister, Coney Reese of Florida; and five grandchildren.

Cremation service is being provided by the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV.
