Ronald Paul Bishop, Sr., 70, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died Sunday, August 2, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. The son of the late Ivan Paul and Ruth Teets Bishop, he was born May 22, 1950, in Morgantown. Ronald was employed as a bus driver for WVU and as a custodian for Mon Health Medical Center. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing 4-wheelers and watching his grandchildren race 4-wheelers. He is survived by his wife, May Marie Wilson Bishop; two sons, Ronald Paul Bishop, Jr, and his wife, Belinda, of Bruceton Mills and Trenton Allen Bishop of Bruceton Mills; two daughters, Mary Irons of Fairmont, WV, and Catherine Renee Bishop and her fiancé, David Roach of Bruceton Mills; grandchildren: Morgan Bishop, Ryan Bishop, Logan Irons and Brayden Collins; and a sister, Cheryl Morris of Morgantown. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Rhonda Jo Bishop. Family and friends are invited to the Mount Moriah Cemetery, in Albright (Valley Point), WV for a memorial and interment service for Ronald, August 6. 2020, from, 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Greg Moran officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to help with funeral expenses.
