Roger Wayne Reckart,

57, of Chesterfield, VA, died Monday, May 1, 2017, at the John Randolph Medical Center, in Richmond, VA.
The son of Wayne and Thelma Kidwell Reckart of Albright, WV, he was born January 18, 1960, in Centenary, WV.
Roger moved from West Virginia to Chesterfield, VA, and worked as a contractor and welder.  He loved gardening, family BBQ's, and Zeus, his dog and best friend.
In addition to his parents, Roger is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Evans Reckart; two children: Jeffery Reckart and spouse, Ruta, and Angalene Little and spouse, Allen; six grandchildren who were the light of his life: Daniel, Iris, Conner, Lee, Kylie and Nathan;  and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, from 6 until the 8:00 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, May 6, 2017, with Pastor Mark Harris officiating.
