Robert Dale DeBerry

Robert Dale DeBerry,

88, went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2026. The son of Virginia Alice Tanner and Junior Clark DeBerry, he was born on July 4, 1938, on Beach Run Hill, Albright, WV.

He was a master mechanic, loved hunting and fishing and was a great storyteller.

Robert is survived by his wife, Wilma Conner DeBerry, to whom he was married for 69 years; three daughters: Robin (Robert) Sigley, Julie (Jerry) Kitchen, and Debra Dale DeBerry; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter: and sisters: Carolyn Exline, Patty Taylor and Diana Stonebreaker.

In addition to his mother, Virginia (Bud) Tanner, and father, Junior Clark (Mary) DeBerry, he was preceded in death by six brothers: Tom DeBerry, James DeBerry, David DeBerry, Terry DeBerry, Ronnie DeBerry, and Michael DeBerry; a sister, Ethel Thomas and one great- great granddaughter.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Brandie Leffingwell officiating and military honors provided by the Preston County Honor Guard.
