Patrick Warren Overking, 75, of Morgantown, WV, retired to the Bruceton Mills area and formerly of Fairmont, WV. The son of the late Marion and Elizabeth White Overking, he was born on November 1, 1947, in Fairmont, and was preceded in death by his brother, Michael M. Overking. Patrick received a Bachelor's degree in History Comprehensive from Fairmont University. He was a veteran of the U.S Army and received a master's in Vocational Rehabilitation from West Virginia University using the G.I. Bill. He was a Rehabilitation Counselor for 10 years in Monongalia County schools and then a Wyeth/Ayerst, Pfizer pharmaceutical representative for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lynda Jean Ferreri Overking; two sons, Zachary and Joshua and his wife Nicole; three grandchildren, Ivy, Olivia and Zoe; a sister, Maribeth Overking and spouse, Sharon Deluca and children; Cristopher and Tabatha Rowan and their two sons: Baker and Brewer; Stephanie and Justin Hill and their son, Briggs; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Ferreri. Family and friends may be received at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 14, at 11: A.M. at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fairmont, with Father Kishore Varaparla as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery off of the Goshen Road in Fairmont. Those attending are invited to a funeral luncheon at Muriel's Restaurant at 2:00 pm.
