Michael Oren Metheny, 69, of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed away in his home Friday, November 25, 2022. The son of the late Chester Earl and Eleanor Kost Metheny, he was born June 23, 1953, in Oakland, MD. Mike was a heavy equipment operator for many years and worked at odd jobs until his retirement. He is survived by a son, Tobby Metheny of Bruceton Mills; a grandson, Matthew Metheny and two granddaughters, Katie Metheny and Sarah Metheny of the U.S. Navy; his companion, Margaret Clark and her two daughters and three granddaughters; a sister and her husband, Roberta (Bobbie) and Duncan Wolfe of Bruceton Mills; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Allan Metheny and sister, Bernice L. Savage. At Mike's request, cremation service will be provided by the Carl R.
