Mack A. Lewis, Jr., 62, of Bruceton Mills (Hazelton community), WV, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. The son of the late Mack and Grace Shaffer Lewis, he was born September 7, 1958, in Baltimore, MD. For 40 years, Mack was a coal miner which was what he loved. He enjoyed going for buggy rides and having poker games with his friends. Most of all, he loved and enjoyed time with his grandchildren. He cherished life, his family, and close friends. He left behind his wife of 42 years, Sherry Darby Lewis; two daughters and their spouses, Rhonda and Mike Wilson and Alicia and Andrew Murphy; five grandchildren: Layne, Gracie, Leland, Aden, and Archer; three brothers: Cy, Fred, and Paul; and two sisters, Diane and Crystal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stevie and Jacki, and a sister, Pamela. Friends and family may pay their respects at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, on Friday, November 20, 2020, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. As per the Governor's executive order, it is mandated that masks be worn while inside the funeral home and social distancing must be followed.
