Linda Sue Galloway,

75, of Bruceton Mills passed away peacefully at her home on September 26, 2026. The daughter of the late Glenn and Grace Guthrie, Linda was born August 5, 1951, in Garrett County, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Myron Keith Galloway, on December 2, 2009. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who treasured her family above all else. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved watching and supporting them in the activities in which they participated. She also enjoyed crafting and reading. Linda was a member of the Bruceton Area Friendship Club, where she enjoyed the fellowship and friendships she made with others. She is survived by her children, Julie (Chad) Miller of Bruceton Mills and Scott (Stacy) Galloway of Cranesville; her grandchildren, Cordell and Carter Miller, and Laira, Lexa, and Lane Galloway; her siblings, Marie Hixon, Carl (JoAnn) Guthrie, Mary Guthrie, and Helen (Bob) Fike; and sisters-in-law, Terri Guthrie and Rita Guthrie. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews, along with numerous extended family members on the Galloway side; and special friends, Tony and Kelley Miller, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with Linda. In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, Genevieve (Bud) Swauger, James (Lillian) Guthrie, Bob (Elsie) Guthrie, Delbert Guthrie, Floyd “Greaser” Guthrie, Thelma (Donald) Russell, Paul Guthrie, and Betty (Samuel) Isabel. Linda's love for her family, her kind spirit, and the many memories she created with those she loved will remain in their hearts forever. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends may call at the Carl R, Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 until 8 pm and Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00 am with Pastor Craig Bolyard officiating. Cremation service will follow.
