Joy Marcele Pierce, 68, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Morgantown and Grafton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the United Hospital Center, in Bridgeport, WV. The daughter of the late Howard and Beulah Royce Kelley, she was born on September 19, 1953, in Morgantown, WV. Joy was a registered nurse and worked at Grafton City Hospital for many years. She is survived by her husband, Rick Pierce; a son and his wife, Christopher A. and Laura Beall, of Grafton; stepchildren: Jennifer Pierce, Kristen Piniewski, and Stephen Pierce, all of Maryland; sisters, Karen Kelley of Morgantown and Brenda (Gerry) Sharpe of Virginia; brothers, Dennis (Jeane) Kelley of Morgantown and Rod (Billiejane) Kelley of Morgantown; and several nieces. Family and friends may call at the Pisgah United Methodist Church (Pisgah community) in Bruceton Mills, WV, on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service, with Pastor Lynda Masters officiating.
