Jane Ann Monroe,

74, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died Saturday, July 7, 2018, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
The daughter of the late Hugh W. and M. Maxine Falkenstine Darby, she was born August 8, 1943, in Bruceton Mills.
Jane was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Bruceton Mills, and served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Sugar Valley Cemetery Association.  She enjoyed reading and puzzle books and most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed all her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jessie Monroe; two sons and their spouses: Tim and Crystal Monroe, of Bruceton Mills and Randy and Teresa Monroe of Arthurdale, WV; a daughter, Deborah Monroe, of Gastonia, NC; five grandchildren: Josh, Seth, Mollie, Aaron and Jonathan; two brother and their spouses: Jim and Charlotte Darby of Culpeper, VA, and Tom and Sue Darby of Bruceton Mills.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Warren (Butch) Darby.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Monday, from 6-8 p.m., and Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 11 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service in the funeral home, with Pastor Barry Darnell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sugar Valley Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
