Hubert Elkins, 87, of Albright (Valley Point), WV, died Sunday, July 24, 2022, at his home. The son of the late Oscar and Martha Taylor Elkins, he was born on December 27, 1934, in Williamson, WV. Hubert was U.S. Navy veteran. He loved his wife and family and enjoyed country music. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie May Conner Elkins, and many relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Hugh Elkins. Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 12 noon until the 1:00 p.m. service, with Pastors Craig Bolyard and Jay Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Valley Point (Albright). Military graveside honors will be provided by the Preston County Military Honor Guard, and the WVANG Funeral Honors, Camp Dawson.
