Henry Blaine Knox,
71, of Bruceton Mills, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Bruceton Mills. The son of the late Clarence and Norma Hixon Knox, he was born on February 6, 1954, in Bruceton Mills.
A 1972 graduate of Bruceton, Henry was a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He never met a stranger and enjoyed everybody, especially his co-workers. He loved to hunt and spend time with his family at his hunting cabin.
Henry is survived by his wife, Marla Rae VanSickle Knox; two sons and their spouses, Jason and Julie Knox and Nathan and Kim Knox of Bruceton Mills; a daughter and her spouse, Elizabeth and Adam Garlick, of Bruceton Mills; eight grandchildren: Venetia Howard (Chantz), Levi Knox (Brianna), Harleigh Knox, Quincy Pompili (Nate), Carson Knox and his girlfriend, Maddie, Callen Knox, Sullivan Garlick, and Ezekiel Garlick; three great grandchildren: Keagan Howard, Koen Howard, and Aveline Knox; a sister and her companion, Donna Forman and Mark, of Blacksville, WV; and his dog, Ellie Mae.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Knox.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Monday, November 3 from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service, with Pastor Martin Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Bruceton Mills.
