Hazel Lee Fike (Casteel), aged 78, passed away peacefully in her home, on September 1, 2026, in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Born on January 31, 1948, in West Virginia, she was a beacon of love and support, cherished by all who knew her.

Hazel was a dedicated wife to Delmas Fike for 63 wonderful years and a loving mother to Neal Fike, (wife) Elsie Fike, Carl Fike, (wife) Marci Fike Lisa Wilfong, (Husband) Jeffery Wilfong, Darrel Fike, (wife) Terri Fike, and Billy Fike. Her life was a testament to her role as a nurturing grandmother to Chrissy, Tara, Carl, Ryan, Amelia, Rebecca, Megan, Kayla, Adam, Dylan, Jamie, Cassey, Jennifer, and Erin, along with 19 great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and caring that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

Hazel was preceded in death by her son Carl Fike, grandson Roger, grandson Jonah Wilfong, granddaughter Jennifer Cobin- Smith, 13 loving siblings: Mildred Casteel, Wayne Casteel, Betty Schafer, Alberta Casteel, Burley Casteel, Margaret Crothers, Shirley Guthrie, Lucy Silbaugh, Buddy Guthrie, Billy Casteel, Dale Casteel, Johnny Casteel, Clarence Casteel, and her parents Nellie and George Casteel with appreciation to her stepfather John Guthrie

Known for her good soul, Hazel was an amazing woman who was always there when needed, embodying the virtues of a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her passion for bird watching allowed her tranquil moments, connecting with nature and teaching her grandchildren the beauty of patience and observation.

Services to honor Hazel's life will be held at Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. A viewing is scheduled for 11 AM followed by the funeral at 2 PM on Friday, September 4th. The family extends their gratitude to Carl Spears Funeral Home for their compassionate assistance during this difficult time. Hazel's memory will be cherished in the hearts of those she touched forever.
