Gene Zane Gribble, Jr. 52, of Bruceton Mills, (Pisgah Community) WV, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at home. The son of Judy Nieman Gribble, of Pisgah, WV and the late Gene Z. Gribble, Sr., he was born April 3, 1968 in Uniontown, PA. Gene was a 1987 graduate of Morgantown High School where he enjoyed playing football and was a veteran of the WV Army National Guard. Gene was a truck driver and he enjoyed bowling, golf, hunting, fishing, and his two dogs. He was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his mother, Judy Nieman Gribble; his children, Kirsten Gribble and her fiance` Jeremy Dorazo of Morgantown, WV, and Gina Gribble and her companion, Hunter Kaschke, of Morgantown; his sister, JoEllyn (Norman) Hixenbaugh, and brothers, George (O'Neil) Gribble and James Gribble, of Pisgah, WV; granddaughter, Layla Gribble; and several nieces and nephews. Gene was preceded in death by his father, Gene Z. Gribble, Sr.; grandparents, George and Betty Nieman and Herbert and Vernice Gribble; nieces, Haley Gribble and Alice Chipps; and life partner, Nancy Barber. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, is providing cremation services.
