Helen Edith Liston, 86, of Terra Alta, WV, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Kingwood Healthcare Center in Kingwood, WV. The daughter of the late Junior N. and Hazel Ann Rexroad Livengood, she was born October 17, 1937, in Cuzzart, WV. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church of Cuzzart. Edith is survived by a son, Lynn Liston; two daughters, JoAnn Liston and Juanita Kelly and her husband, Ronald, of Terra Alta; two brothers and their spouses, Eddie and Nina Livengood of Ohio and Richard and Cindy Livengood of Kingwood; two sisters and their spouses, Linda and Richard Gibson of Terra Alta and Susie and Ron Kelly of Bruceton Mills, WV; three grandsons and their spouses: Jason and Terri, Justin and Corey, and Chris and Catie Kelly; eight great-grandchildren: Khloe, Walker, Delton, Andrew, Jackson, Ben, Cooper and Christian Kelly; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Livengood of Ohio and Polly Livengood of Kingwood; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Liston; two sons, John Liston, Jr. and Sam Liston; a sister, Gretna (Sider) Louise Hardman (Jack); and two brothers, Curtis (Pete) and Charles (Skip) Livengood. The family will be having a graveside service and burial, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Albright (Valley Point), WV.
