Doris Virginia Rosenberger, 87, of Bruceton Mills (Clifton Mills Community), WV, died Monday, June 6, 2016, at her home. The daughter of the late Benjamin Russell and Rosa Pearl Fike Benson, she was born March 23, 1929, in Clifton Mills. Doris was a member of the Clifton Church of the Brethren and a graduate of Bruceton High School. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Darla and Rick Collins, of Smithfield, PA; two sons, Carlos Rosenberger and Clifford "Randy" Benson of Clifton Mills; two step-daughters: Karen Menear of Bruceton Mills and Shirley Rosenberger of Terra Alta, WV; five grandchildren: Chris, Josh, Jason, Courtney and Morgan; and two step-grandchildren, Shawn and Heather; three sisters: Betty Belanger, Janet Summers, and Elsie Gibson and her husband, Carl; and three brothers and their spouses: Hobert and Anna Mae Benson, Dale and Helen Benson, and Robert and Donna Benson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin "Dick" Rosenberger; three grandchildren: Zachary, Karly and Katy, and a sister, Sarah Lou Ditmore. Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Thursday, June 9, 2016, form 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. service in the Clifton Church of the Brethren, Clifton Mills, with Rev. Barry M. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
