Doris Mae Darnell, 84, of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020, at her home with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Ewing and Florence Dills O'Brian, she was born October 25, 1937, in Uniontown, PA. Doris was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Darnell; a daughter and her spouse, Deborah and Larry Baber, of Hazelton, WV; two sons and their spouses: Dale and Belinda Cobb of Smithfield, PA, and Dean and Dedra Cobb of Bruceton Mills; five step-children: Brenda Newman and spouse, Tom, of Pt. Marion, PA, Kay Lute and spouse, Ken, of Morgantown, WV, Betty Williams of Ada, PA, Bill Darnell and companion, Rose Trautman, of Oakland, MD, and Becky Cobb and companion, Mike Kelly, of Albright, WV; four sisters; a brother; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Scott Cobb; a step-son, Donald "Duck" Darnell; and a step-daughter, Sherry Stanley. Family and friends may call at the Mount Moriah United Methodist Church in Valley Point, WV, Wednesday, January 29, 2020, from 11 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service in the church, with Pastor Mark Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Moriah Cemetery, Valley Point. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the Carl R.
