Charlotte Ann "Susie" Bachert,

66, of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017, in her home.

The daughter of the late Delbert and Wilma Ruth Glover Metheny, she was born October 10, 1951, in Kingwood, WV.

Susie attended the Shady Grove Church of the Brethren.  She was employed at BFS Food, and was a school bus driver in Newport News, VA, for the Sandston school district.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, John Bachert; two daughters, Kimberly D. Henson of Morgantown, WV, and Christina Hall of Bruceton Mills; eleven grandchildren: Eric Taylor, George, Chasity and Jimmy Overton, Michael, Julia, Mathew McKay, Aislin, Emma and Ryleigh Hall, and Michael Henson; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Darla and Crystal, and a brother Jimmy Metheny.

Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Tuesday, October 31, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral home, with Pastor Barry M.  Adkins officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.
