Brenda Sue Nester, 75, of Morgantown, WV, passed away at home on Saturday, March 29, 2025, with family at her side. The daughter of the late Ralph M. and Betty Lou Taylor Nester, she was born June 30 ,1949, in Kingwood, WV. Brenda graduated from Kingwood High School and then attended Shepherd College (University) where she graduated with a degree in nursing (RN) in1982 and retired in 2014. She loved her family and especially her nieces and nephews. Brenda is survived by six brothers: Ralph Nester, Jr. of Hedgesville, WV, Michael and spouse, Chong, of Albright, WV, Greg and spouse, Trina, of Lost Creek, WV, Dave and spouse, Wendy, of Masontown, WV, Charles and spouse, Brenda, of Morgantown, and Ronald of Morgantown; and a sister and her spouse, Sheila and Kevin Livengood, of Bruceton Mills, WV. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard, and his spouse, Betty. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 noon, with Pastor Mike Smith officiating.
