Barbara "Babs" Shaffer,

60, of Huntington, WV (formerly of Bruceton Mills) died Thursday, June 20, 2019, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV.
The daughter of the late Chester Junior Shaffer and Ardith June Jones Shaffer, she was born July 20, 1958, in Morgantown, WV.
Babs graduated from Bruceton High School in 1976 and worked as a Lab. Tech.  The delight of her life was her great-nieces and great-nephew.
She is survived by a brother, Danny Shaffer of Romney, WV; a sister, Debbie Shaffer and her husband, Stan of Bruceton Mills; two nieces: Danielle Davis and her husband, Stuart of Capon Bridge, WV, and Jennifer Lund, and husband, Tommy of Huntington; a nephew, Jared Shaffer and his wife, Kelly of Slanesville, WV; three great-nieces, Josie, Alaynna and Katie and a great-nephew, Derek.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Sunday, from 3-6 p.m., and Monday, June 24, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral home, with Pastor Charles Teets officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
