Obituary:	PLAYFORD R. MAUST, 89, of Bruceton Mills (Five Forks Community), WV, died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at his home. The son of the late Calvin T. and Daisy Dennis Maust, he was born May 26, 1919, in Brandonville, WV. He was a retired farmer, timberman and a veteran of the U.S. Army, World War II. Playford is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cora Thomas Maust; a daughter, Janet Fike, of Bruceton Mills; three sons: Ed Maust and his wife, Doris, of Farmington, PA, Charles Maust and his wife, Ella, and James Maust and his wife, Jeannie, of Bruceton Mills; ten grandchildren: Susan Ringer, Ed Maust, Jr. and his wife, Lori, Judy Adams and her husband, Kenny, Amy Maust, Charles Maust, Jr., Christal Burnworth and husband, Tim, Brandon and Holly Fike, McKenzie and Logan Ennis, Lisa Welch and her husband, Randall, and Tammy Adams and her husband, Rich; nine great-grandchildren: Todd and Madison Burnworth, McKenna Maust, Colton and Dakota Adams, Taylor Ringer, Richie and Justin Adams, and Matthew Welch. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and William Maust, and two sisters, Maude Maust and Margaret Fike. Friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Bruceton-Brandonville, WV, Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Sunday, June 1, 2008, from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m., the time of service in the funeral chapel, with Pastor Donnie Savage officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, WV. Personal condolences may be sent on line to the family at www.spearfuneralhome.net.
