Obituary:	PAUL F. McELROY, 83, of Bruceton Mills (Centenary Community), WV, died Thursday, February 14, 2008, at his home. The son of the late W. F. (Frank) and Frances F. Guseman McElroy, he was born August 30, 1924, in Centenary, WV. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II and a member of the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, Woolen Mills. Paul is survived by a son and his wife, Lawrence and Nancy McElroy, of Bruceton Mills; two grandsons: Jeffrey McElroy and his wife, Brenda, and Gregory McElroy; a great-grandchild and his wife, Nathan and Shannon Livengood; and a daughter-in-law, Arlene McElroy, of Bruceton Mills. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary M. Kelley McElroy, October 14, 2001; a son, Richard McElroy; and a brother, Delbert McElroy. Friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Saturday, 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral memorial services will be held Sunday, February 17, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Little Sandy Church of the Nazarene, Bruceton Mills, with Rev. Winfield Mayle and Rev. Chad Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the Centenary Cemetery, Centenary. Personal condolences may be sent on line to the family at www.spearfuneralhome.net.

Sorry about your loss Paul will be missed so much when visiting the funeral home he would always greet you with a pen or something and a big smile. He was always in a great mood. May God comfort you in this time of your loss.

As soon as we moved next door to him - Paul was there with a pen and his famous "gold" coins to greet us. He kept us chuckling with his repeated requests for us to build him a snow-woman and for bowls of chocolate ice cream. He was a lovely neighbor and will be missed.
