Obituary:	HELEN H. HAY, 96, of Morgantown, WV, died Thursday, June 7, 2007, at the Unity Manor Apartments, Morgantown. The daughter of the late Herman and Elsie Mayle Croston, she was born June 1, 1911, in Zainesville, OH. She attended Woodland United Methodist Church and volunteered her services to the residents at Unity Manor. Helen is survived by two granddaughters: Debbie Hileman and husband, Guy, of Westover, and Donna Elliott and husband, Daniel, of Bruceton Mills, WV; a daughter-in-law, Lottie Sanders and husband, John, of Bruceton Mills; five great-grandchildren: Erin Elliott, Courtney Velickoff and her husband, Ed, Logan Elliott, Chad Hileman, and Jillian Hileman; and a sister, Ruby Wise, of Cranberry Township, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ewing K. Hay, December 22, 1987; a son, Donald Hay, in 1965; five brothers: Kermit, Vernon, Roscoe, Robert and Bernard Croston; and two sisters, Clemma Benedict and Margie Crites. Friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Friday, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 9, 2007, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., the time of the funeral services, with Rev. Rick Sale officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills. Personal condolences may be sent to the family at: www.spearfuneralhome.net.

Helen was a wonderful person. She was always sweet and kind. She attended The Salvation Army's monthly meetings at Unity Manor. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed.
