Obituary:	DELBERT J. McELROY, 80, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died Friday, May, 4, 2007, at the home of his son, Douglas McElroy. The son of the late Frank and Frances Guseman McElroy, he was born August 30, 1926, in Centenary, WV. He was a founding member of the Cuzzart Wesleyan Church. Delbert is survived by his son, Douglas D. McElroy, and his companion, Laveda Morrison; a daughter, Donna D. McElroy; a brother, Paul McElroy; two grandsons, Corey D. and William B. McElroy; his former spouse, Geraldine Reckart McElroy; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Franklin and Peggy Reckart and Robert and Betty Reckart; and a sister-in-law and her husband, Dorothy and Wayne Miller, all of Bruceton Mills; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three nephews: William Bruce Reckart, Michael S. Miller, and Richard P. McElroy; a sister-in-law, Mary M. McElroy; and a brother-in-law, Dempsey Reckart. Friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, Sunday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m., and Monday, May 7, 2007, at the Cuzzart Wesleyan Church, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., time of the funeral services with Rev. Dear Doug & Donna, we were so sorry to hear about Delbert. Unfortunately, we didn't find out till after I was at work for the weekend and Mike had gone to Pittsburgh for the weekend.
